If a person went into a nursing home and needed quality hair care, meaning would the staff help you dry and style your hair? Or would they just wash it dry it and put it in a ponytail?

usually beauty operators work in nursing homes.
then you can pay extra to have your hair done.
i think salon treatments are not included in the price.
unless i guess it’s a swanky nursing home.
my grandma was in one and my aunt went every week
and did her hair in a little beauty shop that was in the nursing home. the staff did not provide it.

most nursing homes have a hair stylist which comes in on certain days. they charge a minimal price and charge extra for other things. this is usually paid for from the funds of the patient in the nursing home (medicare A OR B)

Some nursing homes have a beautician on staff or a beauty shop on their premises. They also have vans to take residents to a beauty shop if they are able to leave. Otherwise they will have their hair washed by their aide or family member. I hope this helps
