Please help me find out what this rash on my son. It appeared yesterday in his diaper area in a very small amount, we just assumed it was a bad bit of diaper rash. Today, it spread further into his groin, upper thighs and a bit on his arms, none on his back so far. It doesn’t seem to be bothersome, only a tiny bit itchy. He has had a bit of a drippy nose, and a tad cough that we have been treating w/ homeopathic cold/cough medicine as well as tylenol. We took him to a local after-hours clinic that could not diagnose him. Haven’t used new deter. or shampoo/new foods. Searched internet for cohesive images/conditions to no prevail. He has already had chicken pox and Roselia.
Take a look at the photo, and help please!!!

Well I was not able to open the pic, so it’s hard to tell; but it sounds like an allergic reaction of some sort. My best suggestion is is take him to his pdeiatrician as soon as possible.
well when that happened to my daughter they tried to tell me it was exuma its a skin condition its common but i probable spelled it wrong but then i demanded to be referred to a specialist and he ran a blood test and it was allergic reactions to thing. We had a cat over a year and she never broke out but i guess allergies change he said ever day so u can become allergic to something all of a sudden even if you have used that product for years. I would take him to the doctors and ask for an allergy test be taken.
Hi,
From my own experiences – I used to be allergic to my own sweat that I was burning off during exercise – during a time in my life when I used to have considerable toxins stored within my body fat. I eventually learned that itching or rashes are symptoms of maladies that could become much worse if never healed with good choices.
Although I have seen that most root problems for ‘skin’ issues for myself and others has usually always been from long and or short term allergic reactions to ‘something’ COMBINED WITH a weakened lymph liver kidney skin and immune systems – IF the following symptoms would ever occur – I think the worst rash one might possibly have rapidly acquired is from deadly bacterial meningitis, BUT bacterial meningitis would be VERY RARE.
The two quotes below are from: <> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bacterial_Meningitis <>
<>
“IF a rash is present, it may indicate a particular cause of meningitis; for instance, meningitis caused by meningococcal bacteria may be accompanied by a characteristic rash.”
<>
<>
“The MOST common symptoms of meningitis are headache and neck stiffness associated with fever, confusion or altered consciousness, vomiting, and an inability to tolerate light (photophobia) or loud noises (phonophobia). SOMETIMES, especially in small children, only nonspecific symptoms may be present, such as irritability and drowsiness.”
