I was on the pill for 5 years and stopped 8 months ago. As I haven’t had periods ever since, I’ve consulted my gynecologist, had an ultrasound and been diagnosed with cysts. Although my gynecologyst told me it’s a syndrome caused by the pill, she didn’t mention PCOS and only advised me to wait as I’m quite young (24) and don’t want to get pregnant at the moment, so no drastic cure is needed. But I’ve just checked on the internet and I’m terrified. Before getting on the pill I had no problems at all! Also, I’ve been losing weight these last 8 months (I’ve even lost my appetite a bit) and I don’t have the excessive hair growth, but otherwise this sounds like PCOS. I don’t want to take any more hormones, I’d prefer homeopathy. I’d love to get back to normal! Pls help!

You may have developed PCOS while on the pill and you didn’t notice because it was keeping you from ovulating.

Simple body weight exercises like push ups, one arm push ups, pull ups, squats, squat thrusts, mountain climbers, jumping jacks, Burpees, Monkey Jumps, Bear Walk, Crab Walk etc. will burn fat at an incredible rate and build a lot of functional muscle at the same time.
Do these exercises for 45 minutes with 2 min. break between each set. During this break you can do rope skipping at a moderately fast pace. This will improve heart and lung capacity. You don’t need any gym equipment for lasting fat loss.

One thing I do is use old milk jugs filled with water for curls and such.

Then traditional things like push-ups and sit-ups do work as well.

There is no such thing as a medication/herb/natural treatment without side effects. Homeopathic remedies are not regulated by the FDA, so there is no standard in production, no standard dosage, not controlled studies on people…and they are all completely hype and don’t work, and have a lot of drug interactions.
