The foremost principle in using homeopathic remedies is minimum dosage and careful monitoring of the effects of the remedy. You can give your child 30C of Hepar Sulphuris Calcareum. Try two pellets in a 24 hour period – dissolved in the mouth about an hour between eating or drinking anything else.
If you don’t see an improvement then you MUST discontinue its use. It is not the right remedy to help the child.

There are pediatric homeopaths and it is always best to consult one for your child. You should not rely on over-the-counter remedies. There are over 2000 homeopathic remedies used by experienced homeopaths and finding the right remedy for each individual takes a lot of education and professional experience to determine what is the best one.

I am a student of homeopathy, have at least ten reference books in my home about the remedies and participate in four homeopathic forums on the internet. NO BOOK nor any homeopath has ever stated how much and how often. Homepathy is not practiced in that manner.

Question by Trust me, im English: question about ocd……?
im 15 and have annoying ocd. with some objects if i brush them then i have to go back and say the names of my parents my 3 sisters and say “and everyone else” whilst holding it with my eyes closed. whenever my hands aree dirty i shake mainly around my shouldedrs and just want to detach from them like if theres food in the sink drain i have to get some tissue and i cant just pickk it out because i sdhake too much and have to scrub my hands. theres other stuff but its not really describable. a bit like you cant describe your dreams because theyre so strnage that no one else can understand them but you. i dont know what to do. every night im going to turn off my light and i have to breath in through my nose, close my eyes and say the fmaily names 4 or 5 times over in my head or under my breath then hold my breath until i get into bed. i dont know what to do, i told my mum (iv had it since i can remember) and she said she doesnt want me taking medication, she wants me to try homeopathy, i would like to go to a therapist to get to the bottom of it but its quite an embarissing subject to bring up and say i want to see a shrink. what should i do? what would be the best way to stop it?

I believe that OCD is just a result of a placebo. You think you need to do these things but you don’t. I don’t believe that there are “baby steps” for this kind of thing, If i had OCD I would just try to stop these habits right away.

But then again I have never met any body with this so maybe it is more of an extreme thing than I think it is but good luck.

Question by Amanda: hyperhidrosis question?
i was wondering if anybody has found anything that successfully works to stop/control sweaty hands and feet. It is so annoying. I would prefer answers from personal experience b/c i’ve looked online for cures and they’re always things that are expensive or dangerous. like surgery or botox injections.
Any new methods would be greatly appreciated. I’m willing to try more homeopathic remedies too.

Thanks :)

Have you already tried unscented spray antiperspirant (not deodorant – that only covers smell not stops sweating)? I used to use it on my hands before concerts – the only time that my hands would sweat and it be a real problem for me.

mankind has searched, unsuccessfully forever, for an aphrodisiac, none have proven efficaciuos. We have viagra and its cousins but they are not aphrodisiacs, but actually cures to a physical problem, and not all men can use them nor benefit from them, this concoction is a waste of money. since no herbal drug has been tested for safety, or to determine the right dosing, there is no way to predict its safety, and dozens of herbal/homeopathic drugs have been found to cause physical harm and to interact with other medicines and foods.

Question by Heather: Question for people with thick curly hair?
Okay, I have a lot of hair. Ive tried a lot of products: cheap ones.. expensive ones. Frizz Ease doesnt do me any good nor does Frizz Off or any other magical serum. No, I dont blow dry it with a diffuser.. it takes too long and doesnt look better in the end in my opinion. My thick blonde curly hair is restless. I am always frizzy. For your hair do you use mousse or gel? What line or brand is it. Do you have any homeopathic rememdies to assist in taming it? Please share. Thanks!

I asked about getting a wisdom tooth pulled (tomarrow) in dental, but all who do homeopathy I was wondering, after the first few days of healing, what homeopathic remedys are good for pain and stuff involving removal of a tooth? I know that normal meds normally just surpress the symptoms w/ desease and such, not sure about pain meds, but I still rather do homeopathy after the 1st few days rather then w/e the dentist says i should do at 1st.

Dude, I don’t know much that I can tell you, other than go to a sexologist or possibly a urologist. But I can tell you that homeopathy is junk, absolute nonsense. At the end of it all you’ll still have the same limp dik in your right hand, but a lot less money in your left.

Question by MisterTattiePie4U: A question for Chiropractors and Homeopathic practitioners?
So, I have a question for Chiropractor’s and Homeopaths. But before I ask my question, I need to give some back ground on why I’m asking. About a year ago, a co-worker’s wife began vaginal spotting and feeling not quite well. Since she and her husband, my co-worker, seek out alternative health care opportunities, she went to a Chiropractor. He gave her an exam, took x-rays and told her she needed to have treatments three times a week because (paraphrasing here) of the sever subluxations and spinal curvature she was exhibiting those symptoms. He also had her go to see a partner in his practice who did acupuncture and homeopathic treatments. Oh, sorry if I don’t get the terms exactly correct, I’m relating this from memory as told to me by my co-worker. So, after a year, she isn’t getting any better and the spotting and other symptoms are getting worse. Then, last week, she collapsed at her church. The ambulance came and took her to the ER, and even though she and her husband felt the Chiropractor’s advice of staying away from “allopathic” ( ? ) medicine, which would only poison her, the Doc at the hospital pressed them to allow him to do a blood test. The test came back, and the Doc said there seemed to be a problem and wanted them to see another Doc he recommended. They relented, reluctantly, and made an appointment. They went to see this Doc, who diagnosed her with Cervical cancer, and insisted they get her to see an Oncologist and have an MRI. Ok, now they’re scared, they go see the Oncologist, get the MRI, and she is terminal with this cancer that has spread through out her body, lungs, other internal organs and spine. So, can you imagine how they feel ? A year ago, if the Chiropractor knew how to read an X-Ray, or suggested they see a “real” MD, she wouldn’t be looking at dying in four to six weeks. What, as a practitioner of “alternative” medicine do you tell these people ? I F****D up ! I didn’t mean to kill you? What ?!
I want to thank everyone for their answers. Just an update, the cancer is so agressive, that to have surgery would cause it to spread even faster. Even with that sad news, the Docs now give her only two to four weeks at most.

Hi MisterT…

I am a retired Chiropractor. If the facts are as you have described, then the Chiropractor and the other doctor (the partner) committed malpractice. These doctors did NOT follow standard of care procedures in this case. A malpractice lawsuit may be appropriate and a review of these doctors by their state licensing board is also needed.

My heart and best wishes for the woman and her family.
