Question by rosesrred: Should my friend be worried that she hasn’t had her period in two months?
She has never been pregnant, is not trying to conceive, but is not using protection during sex. She has been having yeast infections so she began taking Yeast-Gard capsules, it is a homeopathic formula, and has been on prenatal vitamins for over a year. Yet the pregnancy tests have all been negative. Is it a worry or just normal?

She is obviously trying to concieve if she isnt using protection!!! She isnt pregnant if thes tests are coming up negative tell her to see a doctor

I’m very sorry to hear about your child’s medical problems, I truly hope that she recovers quickly. To that end, you really should see a pediatrician, not a homeopath. Homeopathy is a placebo and you should not risk your child’s health or life with it. Please, see a real doctor.

my 4nd1/2 yrs old dgthr hs asthmatic bronchitis since 1 year,she recently had 2 episodes of pnemonia,march nd april 09,after oral antibiotics fr 2 weeks,she rcvrd cmpltly.doc said her immunity level is low so she catches infections easily.we r gving her homeopathic medicines frm a well reputed doctor to build up her immunity and nebulize her whenever any signs of congestion appear to prevent asthmatic attacks,firstly are we doing the right thng by nebulizing her with budesol 0.5 respules whnever reqd,secondly wht else can we do to build her immunity bsidz homeopathic medicines and polybion. syrup.

Take her to a doctor. If i were you i would take her frequently just to make sure everything all right.

Question by Suju: hai, i have a baby boy who is 3 years 11 months, almost 4 years old, from past one month one or the other?
problem he has:
1. On June 25, 2010, i went to doctor as he was having stomach ache, nausea…. Doctor prescribed ultrasound of abdomen, it came back as normal., junior lanzol 15 mg
2. On July 12, 2010, i went to doctor as he was having viral fever, the doctor prescribed ibugesic plus
3. On July 18, 2010, he had stye, i went to eye doctor he told all is well then he gave some eye drops
4. On July 25, 2010, he had cough, i went to doctor again he gave brozeet
5. Then after cough stopped he had cold, i gave him clamist
6. Again from today he has both cold and cough…
I am a housewife…i really cannot afford more…i am really worried as doctors here if we just go for one visit charge 200 to 300, i dont mind spending money as health is wealth, but i am not seeing any improvement in my child.

One more thing is I thought homeopathy is good, i went to that doctor but he gives medicines and they cost around 400 to 600 Rs. and no use of that medicine

I thinks doctors are experimenting without our life…When they cannot prescribe a proper medicine, what is the use of them being a doctor…all have become money minded…they do not even see if any one is affordable or not…they do not judge what the problem is….they give a list of bloodwork to be done…and that too from top to bottom….i am really depressed…even i am suffering from viral flu from monday and only from wednesday my temp has come down to 99.4, it is not decreasing any further, but i got all blood test done, all came as negative, i am on two types of antibiotics oflox 400 mg and azee 500 mg, i have lot of bodyache…can any doctor give me a perfect reason…

Well, your child will be sick if you are sick. I mean, cough and colds are contagious. See if someone can take care of him while you get well. I suggest you look for another doctor if you don’t think your present doctor is doing you any good.

can any body suggest any herbal, homeopathy or avervedic medicines. thanks in anticipation. i get soapy bubbly sputum. i am already taking budesonide inhaler 2 puff thrice daily.

some time if you are around dust you can cough a lot and have running noses also the blankets , pillows and even the blankets and such are made of creation things like down and such , my sister did not realizes what was making her sick till she changed the type of blankets and things on her bed and it helps a lot. see if you are allegoric to anything in your house than go from there.

A few years ago while giving advise on sleep aids. Itold a friend about Melatonin. A natural hormone supplied by the brain. We have a plentiful supply early in life. Now itsmade sythetically. Offered in any health food/vitamin store. A friend of theirs is using it to calm and help sleep an autistic child. It may help you as well. My prayers go with you

I have tried all kinds of medicines i.e pain relievers, muscle relaxants etc. Have gone to physiotherapic sessions plus exercises as well. Short Wave Daithermy and Ultrasound are the main treatments which I have done. I have also tried Homeopathic treatment. Nothing works. It has been 6 months since I first felt pain in my Lower back. Hi all, its been 9 months since im married and we have been trying since 2 months.. I have been diagnoised of PCOS. I was aware of this right from the day of marriage and met a doc and started taking BC in the 2nd month after my marriage…But I stopped BC in a month time and shifted to Homeopathic medicines. I did not get my periods in 3 months. Doc says that I shud be fine in 4 months as the medicine that she has given me will help me regulate my periods and ovulate…

I want to conceive at the earliest. My last period was on May 31st and we had sex during the ovulation day and also every other day. I’m due for my periods on June 30th. If I don’t get my periods on time, shud I go for a test after a week or shud I assume that it is coz of PCOS? I have cramps in my leg from past two days, and feeling very tired, lazy, sleepy , nausea and also my I feel very cold… Are there possibilities that I’m pregnant?
