Hi, i am a recovering alcoholic and I have a chest cold. i was taking a cough medicine i had from Mexico which was homeopathic but cannot find it here in the US. I just purchased a homeopathic cough medicine called Boiron Chestal Childrens Cough Medicine. It contains 0.001% alcohol which i imagine is not a lot at all. I am not inclined to take any antihistimines because they do make me feel impaired. Has anyone tried this medicine? Just curious what anyone’s experience or reaction to this cough medicine may have been. The most important thing I am trying to handle is clearing up my cough with my chest congestion with a medicine that does not make me feel impaired at all. I normally take half the recommended dosage if this helps in anyone answering my question. Thanks for any help! merry christmas everyone!

When taking most chemical drugs, liver are damaged or experience quite a pressure. Is it the same with simple homeopathic medicine, such as valerian pills for nervousness or begonia extract for cough?

It’s not that I would need this answer badly, I’m just curious

medicine is sinus and allergy spray (nasal) and homeopathic sinus tablets and homeopathic ear drops all made by hylands.

I know I have a sinus infection and I think instead of moving to my chest like it usually does it has gone to my ears. I can’t hear things like I used to and get very dizzy when I make sudden movements. I tried Tylenol Severe Head Congestion, the whole box, but it didn’t work, only suppressed the sickness. I really can’t miss work, so I will go to a doctor if this gets any worse. But until then, what homeopathic or OTC remedies would you suggest?

I live in Virginia and I started having Seasonal/Pollen Allergies from last year. From the Last week, I am having Stuffy Nose, red watery eyes (not much watery though). I am feeling tired most of the time. I feel heaviness in the area around my nose & eyes and I feel that my eyes and nose are swollen.

I saw Bioron’s have mecicine for Hay Fever and Allergies and they they have these Allergy Care kits also. I am also considering BioAllers Allergy Medicine. Please let me know which one I should give a try and for how long I should take these medicines.
