This study strongly shows that homeopathy is a placebo only; which makes sense given it contains no active ingredients. It shows that homeopathy’s premise that water has a memory and like cures like is nonsense.

The benefits of consultation is well known in any field, however given this research, should homeopathy be recommended for conditions that are serious or life threatening, like asthma or epilepsy or cancer?

I’d say both.
If a patient feels more comfortable about taking a medicine, whatever it is, its likely to have a better effect.
Every system of medicine has some form of placebo.

Please let me know where these controlled trials for placebo compared to cranial techniques are?
If you can;’t provide them then the assertion that it only works on placebo is opinion only.
A lot was involved in order to protect the title ‘Osteopath’ and give us primary care practitioner status. There is no way anyone is going to take that off us. We’ve earned it!

It is sad that an engineering graduate who has no social skill and poor emotional development underachieves so much that instead of looking at his own circumstances and how he can improve his lot likes to criticise and run down other perfectly legitimate professions, like mine, to make themselves feel better and takes every opportunity to do so.

Maybe he should get a life and stop trolling this board, learn some social skills then he may get a job that he likes instead of night watchman.
