Homeopathic ice. This would be in accordance with the homeopathic law of similars. Don’t worry about the ice melting during the dilution and succussion, because water has a memory. I would suggest a 30C dilution – mathematically equivalent to about 1 gram of ice diluted into a cube of water measuring 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 metres per side, which is about 106 light years. Any stronger than that, say 60C, you risk frost bite.
If you think this is preposterous, it is.
Homeopathy, there’s nothing in it.

EDIT: @flashflood, if you read your answer again, I think you’ll find that its actually a non-answer. A tad hypocritical?
“Ridicule is the only weapon which can be used against unintelligible propositions. Ideas must be distinct before reason can act upon them” – Thomas Jefferson

EDIT: @Flashflood – you attack the skeptics for giving non-answers, when you yourself have not attempted to answer the question.
From dictionary.com:
hypocrisy
1.the practice of professing standards, beliefs, etc, contrary to one’s real character or actual behaviour

From Y/A:
“In Yahoo! Answers you must phrase questions in question format, and your answer must attempt to answer the question. Questions or answers must be written in a comprehensible way, and must be written in the language specific to the Answers site to which it is uploaded. You may not post conversational content without an attempt to post a meaningful question or answer a question or otherwise misuse the question and answer format.”
Flashflood, its bad enough that you promote the scam of homeopathy here; but please don’t start the false accusations on those attempting to protect the vulnerable.
OK?

EDIT: @Flashflood, thanks for agreeing your hypocrisy. So, the asker has a problem with increased sweating with a drop in ambient temperature. So following the premise of homeopathy, what is wrong with my answer?

EDIT: @Flashflood, as you can see, I have provided you with a dictionary definition of hypocrisy, complete with a reference.
You have not answered my question: “the asker has a problem with increased sweating with a drop in ambient temperature. So following the premise of homeopathy, what is wrong with my answer?”

Question by becarefulofthelittleangel: I went down to my local health food store and they had all of these homeopathic medicine sprays. Do they work?
When I asked the owner he got snippy telling me everyone’s body is different, blah blah blah. The one I was interested in was one that helped with weight loss. I simply asked him if others found success with this product. He didn’t give me a straight answer. He only said he sells a lot of them and most people have success.

There is no proof that homeopathic remedies help with weight loss. The only healthy way to lose weight (and people seem to have a real hard time accepting this) is to eat less and exercise more.

Question by Elle: is it bad to take homeopathic medicine daily when i don’t even have a problem?
i used it for an infection.. that infection is gone… but it’s helping me lose weight.

Answer by {emine}
No. If you used it for an infection, and it’s gone, you should stop using it. Your probably losing weight because of another reason. Your body can get used to the medicine, and once you stop using it, your body is going to WANT it. It’s going to feel addicting. :]

Copeland’s Cure: Homeopathy and the War Between Conventional and Alternative Medicine by Natalie Robins – 352 Pages, Hardcover

Today, one out of every three Americans uses some form of alternative medicine, either along with their conventional (?standard,? ?traditional?) medications or in place of them. One of the most controversial?as well as one of the most popular?alternatives is homeopathy, a wholly Western invention brought to America from Germany in 1827, nearly forty years before the discovery that germs cause disease. Homeopathy is a therapy that uses minute doses of natural substances?minerals, such as mercury or phosphorus; various plants, mushrooms, or bark; and insect, shellfish, and other animal products, such as Oscillococcinum. These remedies mimic the symptoms of the sick person and are said to bring about relief by ?entering? the body?s ?vital force.? Many homeopaths believe that the greater the dilution, the greater the medical benefit, even though often not a single molecule of the original substance remains in the solution. In Copeland?s Cure, Natalie Robins tells the fascinating story of homeopathy in this country; how it came to be accepted because of the gentleness of its approach?Nathaniel Hawthorne and Henry Wadsworth Longfellow were outspoken advocates, as were Louisa May Alcott, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and Daniel Webster. We find out about the unusual war between alternative and conventional medicine that began in 1847, after the AMA banned homeopaths from membership even though their medical training was identical to that of doctors practicing traditional medicine. We learn how homeopaths were increasingly considered not to be ?real? doctors, and how ?real? doctors risked expulsion from the AMA if they even consulted with a homeopath. At the center of Copeland’s Cure is Royal Samuel Copeland, the now-forgotten maverick senator from New York who served from 1923 to 1938. Copeland was a student of both conventional and homeopathic medicine, an eye surgeon who became president of the American Institute of Homeopathy, dean of the New York Homeopathic Medical College, and health commissioner of New York City from 1918 to 1923 (he instituted unique approaches to the deadly flu pandemic). We see how Copeland straddled the worlds of politics (he befriended Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, and Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, among others) and medicine (as senator, he helped get rid of medical ?diploma mills?). His crowning achievement was to give homeopathy lasting legitimacy by including all its remedies in the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act of 1938.Finally, the author brings the story of clashing medical beliefs into the present, and describes the role of homeopathy today and how some of its practitioners are now adhering to the strictest standards of scientific research?controlled, randomized, double-blind clinical studies. About Natalie Robins Natalie Robins is the author of eight books, including Savage Grace (cowritten with Steven M. L. Aronson), for which she received the Edgar Allan Poe Award; Alien Ink: The FBI?s War on Freedom of Expressio

Homeopathy is not good science. It is utter nonsense.
However, why do you think mucus is a problem? Mucus can be produced by eating a high-fiber-diet, which bruises the intestines a little and makes the cells produce mucus, but it is not necesssarily a problem. Are you having other problems besides mucus?
If you think you have a problem, see your MD and ask her for advice.
