Question by Lady Luck: Should I be Scared / Worried or am I just being over emotional?
I start hormone and homeopathic therapy on 3 Feb for cancer cells in my uterus.
The oncologists told me that it really isn’t anything to serious and that after the treatments I would most probably be clear. It isn’t even that bad that I need Chemo, but I decided to go with the “alternative” method. (just personal preferance)

Now, Iam worried about the therapy… Apparently it’s still going to make me nauseous, weak and moody but not to the extent that pharmaceutical options would. Everyone keeps telling me how silly Im being about feeling anxious… I find it a bit cheeky at times cos I think that what Im feeling is valid and they have no right to tell me what I can and cant feel. Im the one that’s sick after all and not them!!!

Am I over-reacting by being scared and worried or should I just take it easy and hope for the best??

you have every right to be scared, after all, it is your body. theyre trying to help by uplifting your spirits by minimizing the possible outcomes. after watching my seven yr old cousin go thru chemo this year, i can tell you that he was miserable and tired and sad a lot of the time. but with loving family support, he is thankfully in remission. maybe possibly talk to a counselor or a cancer surviror to acknowledge and deal with your feelings in a healthy and supportive manner. good luck with your therapy

I’m 47, female, and need to lose about 60 pounds. I prefer working out indoors, as I’m prone to joint inflammation flare-ups.
