Question by Allie: Would herbal supplements in a teen cause breast growth?
Ok you may or may not have seen my previous questions about breast growth since I have alot, but I’m 16 and am only an A cup. I really have trouble finding shirts that fit me and am not happy with how they look. I don’t really care what guys think b/c I’m in a serious relationship of 3 years. I just want better fitting shirts. So if I started taking breast supplements would it induce growth since I’m still in puberty?

Usually, so called herbal supplements for breast growth, either don’t make any difference or cause side effects. So, instead of taking such supplements on your own, consult a doctor or add foods to your diet that are said to induce breast growth like dairy products and protein rich diet.

I see infomercials selling herbal pills and they say the government won’t let them say their product works for certain diseases claiming lack of proof. Well why don’t they spend the money to do wide scale research to prove what they say?

It’s very expensive and time-intensive to run studies on drugs, and many people will buy the pills even without scientific studies to back up their claims. Plus, many of the herbal treatments wouldn’t stand up to the scrutiny of a scientific trial.
