It’s a good idea to do some due diligence and educate yourself before you buy oral HCG. As a natural homeopathic medication, it should be stored properly. Otherwise, its therapeutic effects may be diminished or lost altogether.

The History and Manufacture of Homeopathic Medications

The theory behind homeopathic medication is “like cures like.” In other words, the best way to treat a symptom is with something that creates similar symptoms. When such a medication is administered, it triggers the body’s own healing mechanism, which causes the symptoms to gradually fade and eventually disappear.

The basic principles of modern homeopathy were described by the ancient Greek physician   Hipokratēs of Kos in the Fifth Century B.C., but it wasn’t until 2,200 years later that a German medical researcher Samuel Hahnemann began to codify these principles and organize the information as the basis of an actual branch of medicine.

A homeopathic treatment is made from a plant extract or other type or organic material that has been proven to cause symptoms. This extract is diluted several times with a solution of water and alcohol in a process called “potentization.” During this process, the original substance is gone, but it has left biochemical imprint on the water molecules. Meanwhile, the alcohol serves as a preservative.

Avoid Heat

If you are planning to buy HCG and use it immediately or in the near future, you can store it at room temperature. It should be fine as long as it is kept out of direct sunlight. Otherwise, homeopathic HCG should be refrigerated. Keeping it in a medicine cabinet with other OTC medications should be sufficient while you are using it.
