Please HELP!!! My dog has recently gotten into a fights with some wild animal and formed a horrible abscess on his ear due to a bite wound. We immediatly took him to the vet to have this abscess lanced. A few days later it has filled back up with fluid and cannot squeeze it because the wound has now sealed shut. I hate to take him back to the vet for surgery again i am hoping that will be our last resort. I am looking for some form of alternative treatment to drain this such as a homeopathic solution?? PLEASE HELP!!!
I suspect our little 2 year old terrier may have food allergies, He seems itchy most of the time and gives little shakes just like he does when he’s got wet. He definitely has no fleas, mites or ticks. I did a search for a homeopathic remedy and came acrss TopicalVantage. Has anyone had any experience using it on their pets?
Thanks – Marge
TopicalVantage is not a flea remedy, it’s a homeopathic skin remedy for skin problems, itching, scratching etc. I suspect food allergies in my dog.
I am having problems getting rid of ear mites, what product works the best please. Vets or over the counter or homeopathic? Thanks for your help
My dog had a bad flea problem. We have FINALLY gotten rid of the stupid things but my dog still scratches and his skin is very red. He even has a few spots that are bleeding. He has lost some hair but the Vet told us that it will grow back. Are there any home remedies that I can use to soothe this poor guys itching?
I noticed one my labs eyes has been weeping and sometimes she squints. I was wondering if anyone has used Similasan Pink Eye Relief for their pets? It’s homeopathic, doesn’t contain steriods or hydrocortison so i’m thinking it would be safe to try. Any suggestions.
We have a Husky that has flies that are attacking our dog’s ears. His fur and flesh are raw and missing. They’re getting bad and we need a home remedy to help get rid of them. They’re just getting him and not the other dog we have. (chihuahua)
We bought an over the counter medicine for him especially for that but it didn’t do anything. Sometimes home remedies work better than medication.
My dog has had an allergy to dust mites for a long time and she is currently on medication.
But she still does chew her feet a lot so i tried this homeopathic skin cream which says it contains tea tree, lavender and aloe vera oil. It works well for her.
Well, i am a big lover of making handmade cosmetics myself (eg hand lotion, lip gloss, face masks and cleansers etc) so i was wondering could i make a sort of cream and add tea tree, lavender and aloe vera oil to use on my dog?

Product Description
This book, the first book written by an American veterinarian specializing in homeopathic medicine, teaches the average consumer how to use natural remedies to treat common, acute, and chronic problems in cats and dogs. Hamilton covers digestive complaints, skin diseases (including flea irritation), respiratory disorders, urinary diseases, mouth, teeth, and gum problems, ear pain, musculoskeletal ailments, injuries and traumas, and psychological and behavioral problems. He also addresses several issues that cannot be found in any other book on veterinary medicine including how to treat hyperactive cats and dogs, how to differentiate between true healing and suppression or palliation of a disease, and the dangers of veterinary vaccination.
Homeopathic Care for Cats and Dogs: Small Doses for Small Animals
There is a red growth-like thing with red veins near the tear duct inside my dog’s left eye, it would come up over the years but we would just use what was left of some prescription eye drops for my mom and it would go away but eventually the bottle ran out. So the next time it appeared, which was about a year ago, we bought some homeopathic eye drops but they don’t work at all. Please explain what it is, what causes it, and how to treat it. Thank you
