Violent Coughing Fits and How to Resolve Them Naturally

Violent coughing fits can be so severe they rack your body. And they can come in multiple spasms which are so close together, it’s hard to catch your breath in between the spasms. So you might become a bit blue, or cyanotic. Great fun.

This is a very accurate symptom picture of the homeopathic medicine Drosera. So it’s an excellent medicine to resolve these coughing fits.

It’s worth remembering that any ailment is best treated by improving your immune system. Only then will your health improve overall, not just the acute condition you are seeking help with.

Homeopathy only works by improving your immune system. It doesn’t work any other way. But the difficulty for many home prescribers is to see an accurate match between their symptom picture and that of the medicine.

So apart from the violent coughing fits, what other symptoms need to be present for Drosera to work well for you? Probably the next most important symptom would be the spasms of ten, even more at a time, which are really close together, so close it’s hard to breath.

Then you should have maybe one or more of the following symptoms to complete the picture:

the cough is so severe it produces a nosebleed cough is worse after midnight you get cramps periodically in your hands, which may or may not be related to the coughing fits

If this seems to match what you are experiencing, then Drosera will probably completely resolve your coughing. And it is unlikely to return.

I had my first cigarette at 10, I’m now almost 22. In high school I used to smoke about a pack a day, but after I graduated and had to start using my money for food, rent, utilities ect… That changed real quickly to 3-5 cigarettes a day and has been that way since. I haven’t been a heavy smoker for a couple years. I remember back in high school, i tried quitting once, and went like a week without smoking, but went back because I got these horrible coughing fits when I wasn’t smoking. I got it to a lesser degree when I cut back from a pack a day to what I smoke now.

Now I’m sitting here looking at it, I’m practically 22, married, eat all organic, use all natural body care products, wear organic clothing (to avoid the toxic dyes), use organic household cleaners, use homeopathic medications, exercise daily, hell I have even been smoking cigarettes made of organic tobacco for the past year. Why the hell am I still smoking? I do everything else right in the name of my health. Me and my husband have been discussing having kids maybe 2-3 years from now, and I want to be rid of this habit for a good long while before I have a child in my body. I have been cutting back even more 1-2 cigarettes a day for the past few weeks, and plan to be rid of them altogether by new years. I want a few years for my body to filter out the worst of it before I start having children. But I’m getting the horrible horrible coughing fits. They keep me up all night, my lungs and ribs hurt, and I’m coughing up nasty amounts of mucus, sometimes with a little blood in it. I’m serious about quitting this time, but I’m wondering what is with the coughing? You’d think I’d be coughing when I was smoking, not when I quit smoking. When I do have my cigarette for the day, the coughing ceases for a while. It is noticeably worst at night too, not so bad during the day. What on earth is causing this? Is this normal when you quit smoking?
I’m not sure what a doctor could do besides prescribe something for cravings. I’m not having cravings, I don’t smoke enough anymore to have cravings and I don’t want their chemical laced medication. All I’m wondering is if anyone else experienced this when they quit smoking?

We have a BT and she’s about a year and a half old, I took her to the vet to get vaccinations 10 days ago. In the last couple of days, she’s been hacking and coughing. It is akin to a cat with a hair ball, but I’ve never seen anything come out (nose or mouth). Could the vaccinations have made her a little sick, like children can after their shots? Pup is due back for booster shots in another 10 days, should I just ask the vet about it then? Is there any homeopathic remedy for the coughing (she’s 19.7 lbs). Thanks!

My mother went to an allergy specialist and to our family physician. She always receive allergy medication that treat these symptoms: watery eyes, runny nose, itching eyes and sneezing.

But she has mucus, coughing, spitting and a bit runny nose. Is there any medication available to stop mucus? I only found drugs that treat congestion.

A homeopathic medication would be best, because she is very sensitive to side effects.

What is some home remedies for coughing from allergies?
What are some home remedies for a cough? I am taking Sudafead PE which helped break the stuff up but when i get up in the morning I am coughing really bad and can barely breathe for my throat and stuff being coated with the drainage. What is some stuff I can use that is usually around the house?
