We have a BT and she’s about a year and a half old, I took her to the vet to get vaccinations 10 days ago. In the last couple of days, she’s been hacking and coughing. It is akin to a cat with a hair ball, but I’ve never seen anything come out (nose or mouth). Could the vaccinations have made her a little sick, like children can after their shots? Pup is due back for booster shots in another 10 days, should I just ask the vet about it then? Is there any homeopathic remedy for the coughing (she’s 19.7 lbs). Thanks!

She is a small dog (14 lbs) and has had this problem for all of her three years. My dog walker tells me that once the glands are squeezed manually by someone, the dog becomes less able to do it on their own. Also, she says that it is not a major or big surgery. I have tried everything to get her to push the stuff out of her glands naturally: letting her stool get really hard to she has to push hard; homeopathic medicines, change her diet to raw and removed all allergies, etc. Let me know what you dog owners think please about the proposed surgery.
