Question by pisces3671: I am suffering from severe acne infection for last 18 years. Can anyone suggest any holistic approach?
I am 36 years of age and male. For the last 18-20 years since I am 16, I am suffering from this severe and chronic acne and pimple infection specifically in my face with lots of scars, pain, redness, etc. I tried and still trying homeopathy which is of no use. I tried allopathy which relieved me for a few months. I am trying arometharapy but of little use. I am desperately looking for something which can cure this problem. Please suggest.

Will laser treatment be too expensive?

have u tired a poultice?
u can use a slice of bread and milk, put the milk on the bread and place it on ur cheek until it dries, when u peal it off there will be puss and stuff from ur sores on the bread, it will be gross but it works

I am a 15 year old male. OI have fungus in my bigtoe on my left foot for aslong as i can remember. it has been removed 3 or 4 times. Now I have fungus in my big toe on my right foot that has been there for about 8 months. Now I have fungus on my middle finger on my right hand. it has been there for two months. It looks really bad …. i want to the doctor and he basically said ” welll u have fungus and this pill is the only way to cure the finger and toes from the Fungus”. I have done research and the pill is apperaltly hard on the liver. I have struggles with my weight my whole life, i don’t want to take anything hard on my liver, because I am proabloy going to need to watch my weight for the rest of my life. the doctor said there is no other treatments. is there any other treatments out there like homeopathic treatments. I heard you can get the nail so the nail will not grow back. I may consider doing that to my toe but I want to avoid doing that to my finger. I also tried that medicine that is on at like 2 o clock in the morning I think it is called ” tinecide” or something like that . but I did not use it consistently. Do you have any suggestions or any homeopathic treatments . Do you think I will be able to convince the doctor to remove the nails one more time and let me try the cream one for time. or any other ideas for medicine or homeopathic treatments

Use Vick’s Vap-O-Rub. The menthol will kill the fungus. Takes 6-8 months for the new nail to grow out completely.

Please someone help me if you have any information. I have been experiencing chronic UTIs for 2 years now. I have tried antibiotics at the onset of infection with little success, vibrational healing, acupuncture, homeopathy and a variety of basic home remedies such as
baking soda flushes
cranberries/juice
cider vinegar and honey
herbal remedies such as HerbFarm’s CranBladder ReLeaf
uva ursi
bucchu
dietary changes
physical activity to strengthen abdominal muscles and release bodily toxins such as hatha/bikram yoga
cleaning after sex and using the restroom

My main problem is that I experience residual symptoms after I get an actual infection, like sensitivity, bloating, and pain. I have never had an infection that went to the kidneys or that made me bleed during urination.

It looks like you’ve tried everything but drinking water! I used to drink lots of sodas and sweet tea and had chronic UTIs. Last summer, I started drinking water with maybe 2 glasses of sweet tea each week, and NO SODAS! I still have coffee occasionally too, but I limit my caffeinated drinks to 2-3 per week no matter what. If I exceed that limit, I begin experiencing symptoms again.

You should drink enough water so your urine is clear with no yellow tint at all when in the toilet bowl. If you see any shade of yellow, drink more water! If you do this, I promise you will begin seeing improvement within days and no pain within about a week!

The Royal Family have no need of hospitals. They are Royalty with the healthiest of constitutions. The blue blood which courses through their veins is of the utmost quality as can be attested by our wonderful Queen Mother – 109 and still going strong!

Dr stated that my thyroid is not low enough for medication, but still have all the symptoms. Looking for anything to relieve the symptoms…fatigue, mood swings, hair loss, etc. someone mentioned Iodine…Any truth???

My wife is suffering from Alopecia Totalis(Total hair loss from body) probably due to the mis effect of some medicine.This condition has been since 2004. Initailly there was some hair loss from eyebrows then from scalp and finally throughout the body.She is also having brittle nails which somehow appear associated with this disease. We have taken medications in Allopathy, Homeopathy and Ayurvedic but to no avail. She feels let down and depressed. Can ayone serioulsy suggest some remedial solution if undergone through a similar problem with self/ relatives/ friends.

You didn’t say if your wife is a diabetic, but if she is and is taking metformin and glyburide the combined effects of the two drugs taken togather will cause hair lose. As to her nails mine have become real soft, brittle, and break off easy. Another side effect of the two drugs
