  I was stunned by how powerful the original wet jet solution is. This lavender/vanilla solution is just as effective. It cuts through caked on yuck in the kitchen and mud the dog tracks in. The smell of the regular solution is very fresh and pleasant, but I like the lavender/vanilla scent even better. It’s sweet but not overpowering–and quite relaxing. (Especially if my husband does the mopping!)

  I use this on linoleum in the kitchen, tile in the bathroom, and wood throughout the rest of the house. I’ll offer the same caveat here that I included in my review of the regular solution: It’s supposed to be safe for wood, but given how it stripped off residue left by Rejuvenate (a floor restorer), I might be wary of using it on pretty, glossy wood floors. (Ours are old.)

  I love how easy this product is to use, and because it’s also fun, the kids volunteer to help. but it can’t handle tough dirt, like skid marks from dark-soled shoes. for every day cleaning, especially in the kitchen, it is ideal.
