This works great. Have been getting blisters/cold sores on my lip whenever I go out in HOT sunny weather. But I fee it’s too pricy. For about [...] you get very small quantity. After doing some more reseach I found L-Lysine ointement from Basic Oragnics which is sold at local GNC store. I paid about [...] and it has 4 times the quantity. And it works great too.

I had a fever blister that I just couldn’t get rid of. I tried everything and it just hurt! I used this on it and in two days it was almost gone. Feels very soothing.

This stuff is incredible! If I can get it on at the first tingle of an oncoming cold sore, I almost never actually get a visible sore. I found this on the shelf at a chain pharmacy and thought I’d give it a try and what a find it is.
My former position required extensive travel, outdoor work in harsh weather and lots of stressful customer relations; all bad triggers for severe cold sores. I often caught people avoiding looking at me when the sores were at their worst and the other treatments were ineffectual. Those that have had severe cold sore outbreaks know how horrible it can be. Large slow healing sores on the lips chin and even the nose…
Since I started using Lysine+ over 9 months ago I have had two cold sores actually become visible. Neither of the two sores remained for more than three days and there was no scabbing. There is no comparison to anything I’ve used before and for the price it can’t be beat. Compare the price per tube to the other leading cold sore treatments.
I purchased a four pack so I could have a tube handy when needed. The only negative I find with it is that it doesn’t help with dry chapped lips very well and doesn’t provide the sun protection cold sore prone lips need so keep something else for a sun protection/moisturizer.
