Hi I took this about 3yrs ago and lost a lot of weight in a short time. I loved it because I ate less which caused my stomach to shrink its like having surgery with out the knife I did not feel jitter or loopy in head it just made food sound and look yucky. Like that pill alcoholics take to stop drinking. I order my pills July 2nd and received them July 6th and that was over a holiday weekend great service I will keep you in touch with how much success I have this TIME!!!

First of all, these pills are horse pills! It says do not take more than 4 a day. I took 2 and was still hungry and did not feel a thing. Then I took 2 more and felt like my heart was going to come out of my chest! It was scary becuase I have a very high tolerance to caffeine and it still affected me this way. I have taken the real phentermine in the same mg dose and these are NOTHING like it. Don’t waste your [...] bucks! If you can just go to the doc and try to get the real ones because these will not work, unless you want to feel like your going to die with no results! I am not entirely impressed with this product. I don’t feel it works the way they say. I have been using it for 2 months and there has been no significant change. I don’t feel that is surpresses the appetite..but I know each person is different.

Let’s get this straight from the beginning. Phentramine HCL is NOT the same thing as prescribtions strentgh Phentermine given by a doctor. I have taken Phentermine (prescribtion strentgh) to initially lose weight and then to maintain for years and it works everytime. Some of the review you see here are that state the drug was taken several years ago are probably refering to the prescribtion strength verson.
Phentramine HCL is the over-the-counter drug and I am sad to say it just doesn’t work. It was created, I suppose, because some people cannot tolerate the side effect of the prescribtion version: insomnia, dry mouth, headaches, heart palpatations are some of the possible side effects. I can tell you that the side effects lesson as you get used to the drug but some people cannot tolerate it for that long.
I went to a weightloss clinic a couple of days ago to get a prescribtion for Phentermine and they told me that the switched to OTC Phentramine. They assured me that it worked just as well. I became suspicious when they said to take 2 a day. On the prescribiton version two per day is not neccessary. But I took them anyway, trusting the clinic that I used to frequent. Unfortunatly, I found that Phentramine HCL does not work at all.
If you have never taken the prescribtion verion this OTC version may work for you but if you are looking to replace the prescribtion version I would not recommend the HCL it is not strong enough and does not work.
