Author: My 5 month old son just got over his first cold and now he has his first Ear Infection. I am currently using a homeopathic remedy of Mullein and Garlic Oil. I know that Antibiotics from the doctor clear up the infection faster but what about my homeopathic treatment? How long will it take for his Ear Infection to lessen and eventually clear up using the Mullein and Garlic oil?

You should do whatever will preserve your son’s hearing. And you should do it right away.
what was he listening to?
Watch the home remedies because if you don’t get rid of the ear infection fast enough it can cause the ear drum to bust
Actually if the infection is not too bad the ear infection will go away on its own…about the same time frame as with antibiotics…if you notice any other symptoms you should notify your pediatrician
THANK YOU for not using antibiotics!!! They do NOT work on ear infections!!! They make it dormant for a while, but it come back. That’s why people have kids that always seem to be sick. What I’d like you to try is putting colloidal silver drops directly into her ear. I have had MANY parents try this with their children that had chronic ear infections and after 2 weeks they looked like they had new ears. I’m going to guess that you are nursing since you are into the au natural thing (fabulous!), but if you are not, I’d urge you to use a formula that is nondairy.
