does anyone know what is good for….? 10 points?

ok this is it.. i have allergies to my pet(dog) i take some homeopathic tablets.. and they do help.. my problem is the itchiness on my eyes.. i use eye drops for the allergy..but i was wondering if anyone has a better idea of a home remedy or anything else i can do to stop the itch with out using eyedrops..? 10 points to best answer.. i would really appreciate any ideas… or suggestions.. thank u

  Boric acid. You can get it at the pharmacy. Mix it with water as per the bottle and you can use that as eye drops.

  zyrtec!!!! it helps indoor and outdoor allergies and it works 2 hours faster than clairitin!!!!!

  benadryl will make you very very tired

  target has generic zyrtec over the counter and $4 generics!

  Walmart sells cheap allergy medicine, no prescription needed. They are about $2.00 for a 10 day supply. My kids take them for dog allergies.

  Check into Benedryl and see what’s in it. You sound like someone who doesn’t want to take medication but I think this is one medication that is fairly benign as far as side effects or long term effects. And yes, it will make you sleepy at first but you’ll get used to it and then you can take it regularly. My eyes itch so bad from the cat and dogs we have that I want to gouge them out. I’ve used eye drops but once I take the Benedryl it’s so much, and I mean SO MUCH better!

  Go to the eye doctor or ask a vet pro. They could probably know what it is. It helped when i went to the doctor, i owned a Eskimo and he shed-ed like crazy! So i may know what is happening i would probably take some Allergy med.

  I have the same problem that you have. My doctor prescribed Zyrtec for me and It has worked miracles. Good Luck
