It has recently come to my attention from a chiropractor that I need to see an acupuncturist. My question is do they really help the headaches as they say it does? I have had headaches for over 6 years now and have been on several different medications, and have tried numerous ways of managing the pain homeopathic-ally. I have tried traction, chiropractics, and muscle relaxants too name a few. So again will acupuncture really help with my headaches that I am getting everyday?

The acupuncture can help the headaches as long as they are not caused by dehydration (in which case only hydrating will help). It may also be that you have a vascular problem. But please note, even Harvard considers acupuncture to be legit. It can help and it’s worth trying it out.
