Question by finkebee: Sprained ankle!any tips for keeping stamina?or quick recovery?
i sprained my ankle two days ago in a track meet.i was doing a relay and the girl i was handing off to started in the middle and i didnt want to get the team dq’ed so i tried to stop but i had too much momentum i rolled my ankle so my foot went in and it swelled but didnt hurt that much at all really.
ive been using RICE method with ice and elevation but the doc said 2 weeks before i should even think about running.i know i need to listen to the doc
but does anyone have any homeopathic remedies or anything that might speed up the process or worked for them?
im a hurdler in high school track and scouts had contacted me and wanted to see me this season.i really need a good quick recovery so i can get “back on track” but i dont want lasting side affects in my ankle.im taking the 2 weeks but i was wondering whether there is
ANYTHING i can do to keep my stamina

I was injured by fall 04/26/2005 (before age 45), hospitalized 4/29/2005 for no rectal tone. Released 05/03/2005, proving self catheterization could be done (definitely do not recommend 4 any living thing), 3 1/2 months later WOO HOO, Urologist said I could stop. Struggle over no feeling of bowel release put me in adult diapers until back surgery 02/06/2007. Xtra fun Lumbar Fusion L-5, had little to no feeling before. Now the best part of all, loads of fun bowel okay for short time because I get to learn how to use walker. the best part how do I lay down to sleep get up quickly when charlie horse cramps, spasms start raging throughout my lower hips and legs that I could touch and feel. i have a bad skin infection. im pretty sure its a fungus infection and it spread all over my body, it started at my feet. the bottom of my feet got a bad fungal infection. i couldnt even walk it hurt so much and my heels leakes oily fluid. then it spread to my face, hands,arms,armpits,neck and shoulders.
its terrible and disgusting looking its all red like a sunburn but i havent gone outside in a long time. i have agoraphobia so i barely or never go outside and i keep window shades on all my windows with the ac turned up.
its all red and rashy and the skin is feeling and rough and stiff, it burns but dosnt itch, iot just hurts and is painfull. it also has a very bad foul odor, my face smells like the bottom of someones foot and no matter how many times i shower the odoer is still strong and comes back stronger as soon as i step out of the shower. it smells terrible and my skin pores are leaking an oily sticky fluid. its leaking from my face,armpits,scalp,neck and shoulders. i scrubbed my hair with 3 kinds of shampoos and rinsed many times and within an hour os stepping out of the shower the oily stuff came back and stared leaking ut of my scalp and armits. i cant even go out in public if i decided to because i smell terrible and no matter how many times i shower or what type of bodywash or soap i use, i still stink. i used scented ones and gentle ones like ivory

every day the smell and leaky stuff comes back and the skin is red and stiff and peeling. it smells like someones foot, its an odor you would get when smelling a sweaty persons old sneaker

Question by Bassmaster: Can anyone help me with nail fungus.?
I am a 15 year old male. OI have fungus in my bigtoe on my left foot for aslong as i can remember. it has been removed 3 or 4 times. Now I have fungus in my big toe on my right foot that has been there for about 8 months. Now I have fungus on my middle finger on my right hand. it has been there for two months. It looks really bad …. i want to the doctor and he basically said ” welll u have fungus and this pill is the only way to cure the finger and toes from the Fungus”. I have done research and the pill is apperaltly hard on the liver. I have struggles with my weight my whole life, i don’t want to take anything hard on my liver, because I am proabloy going to need to watch my weight for the rest of my life. the doctor said there is no other treatments. is there any other treatments out there like homeopathic treatments. I heard you can get the nail so the nail will not grow back. I may consider doing that to my toe but I want to avoid doing that to my finger. I also tried that medicine that is on at like 2 o clock in the morning I think it is called ” tinecide” or something like that . but I did not use it consistently. Use Vick’s Vap-O-Rub. The menthol will kill the fungus. Takes 6-8 months for the new nail to grow out completely.

Question by Munchie the Bunchie: severe plantar warts?
I have about half a dozen plantars on my foot, and one of them got HUGE! Like quarter size! I have cut them open with my knife a few times (I know now, that was really stupid) and used the duct tape treatment (hasnt worked) and some homeopathic pills, and i got the beetlejuice treatment (nothing happened)

so you guys ever find anything that works for these things?!? And bythe way its too big for liquid nitrogen, but that worked for my finger ones

I had plantar warts in high school, they were deep. I used compound W (by suggestion of my MD) worked like a charm
