We have a BT and she’s about a year and a half old, I took her to the vet to get vaccinations 10 days ago. In the last couple of days, she’s been hacking and coughing. It is akin to a cat with a hair ball, but I’ve never seen anything come out (nose or mouth). Could the vaccinations have made her a little sick, like children can after their shots? Pup is due back for booster shots in another 10 days, should I just ask the vet about it then? Is there any homeopathic remedy for the coughing (she’s 19.7 lbs). Thanks!

I have had BT’s all my life they are so cool. It is to far after the vaccines to cause her any problems Maybe she picked up a bug at the vets office? Give him a call.
Yes, animals can get some symptoms from vaccinations like we humans can. I would keep a close eye on your dog, and if it keeps up call your vet and ask their opinion. Also, look for hives and discoloration or swelling of the tongue and/or throat, this could mean an allergic reaction. Hope this helps.
The dog may have picked up “Kennel Cough” while at the vet’s office. It is an infectious virus. I would suggest taking him back to your vet and having her looked over again.
