I have a lingering cough that is dry, non-productive, but still bronchitis-like in that it is deep, and gets worse when I lay down at night. But this is unlike any “bronchitis” I’ve ever experienced. I’m not coughing up anything, and this cough has lasted a little over a month now.

It started with a two week round of a bad cold (or flu??) back in early February. I haven’t been to the doctor’s, because antibiotics always make me deathly sick…..but I am looking for some tried and true over-the-counter products and/or natural, homeopathic treatments to control this cough and hopefully reduce any inflammation in my chest.

Any recommendations? And if you’ve had anything like this, how long did it take you to get over it?
